Ashley Westwood Signs for Burnley.

Aston Villa's Ashley Westwood has completed his move to Burnley for a fee said to be around £5 Million.

The Englishman signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the club.

He told the clubs official website: "I am delighted to be here."
"It’s happened fast but I’ve been made to feel very welcome and I can’t wait to get going.

“It feels like a proper football club and homely and that’s what I like. I like to be appreciated and I think I will definitely get that here.

“It’s a fresh start and I want to show people what I can really do."

He started his career at Crewe Alexander in 2008, he was loaned to hometown club Nantwich Town in 2008.

He signed for Aston Villa in 2012 for £2 million pounds, he scored his first goal for the club against Westbrom in a 2-2 draw away from home.

He becomes Burnley's second Signing this Transfer Window. The first was Joey Barton.

Westwood will wear the NO. 18 jersey.
