Marseille set to sign Dimitri Payet for £25 million.

West ham United earlier today announced they have reached an agreement to sell Dimitri Payet to Marseille for £25 million.

Payet was signed from Marseille in 2015 for £10.7 Million, after the club had financial issues they had to let go of most of their top players.

Dimitri Payet has been an influential player for West ham with his dribbling, passing and his dead ball ability.

He made his EPL debut against Arsenal at the Emirates stadium. A week after he scored his first goal for the Club against Leceister city, A match they lost 2-1.

February Last year he signed a new Five and a half year deal with the club, earning £125,000 per week.

 He was Shortlisted for the PFA player of the year award.

May 2016 he won the player of the year award for West ham United.

Payet played a vital role for his country France,  at the Euro 2016.

He scored in the opening match against Romania, he also had an assist for a Giroud's goal. He was named man of the match.

Earlier this year West ham's Coach Slaven Bilic confirmed the player was no longer willing to play for the club.

Marseille had several Offers Rejected by the club, a fee has now been agreed and the player is reportedly in France for his medical.

He played a total of 60 games for West ham scored 15 goals.
