The Reigning World player of the year is the highest earning Sportsman in 2016, according to Forbes sports money Index

His Total earnings for 2016 is Listed as £70.5 Million. Broken down into £44.9 million in salary and prize money and £25.6 Million in endorsement deals.

The Madrid attacker had a fruitful 2016, winning the Ballon d'or, the FIFA best player award, he also won the Chinese MVP award.

Barcelona attacker Lionel Messi comes in second with £65.2 Million.
