Djibril Cisse hangs up his Boots

Djibril Cisse has decided to retire from football.

The Frenchman has decided to face his DJ career.

The 35 year old has played for a lot of Clubs  he started his senior career in 1998 with Auxere in France.

He moved to Liverpool in 2004, Injury did not allow him reach his full potential, in his first season with the club he scored 5 goals for the club. he broke his leg in a match against Blackburn rovers on October 2014 when challenging for the ball with Blackburn player Jay McEvely.

He went on the play over 40 games for liverpool.

Djibril Cisse was loaned to marseille in 2006, a season after,  he secured a permanent move to the Club.

He went on to play for Sunderland,  Panathinaikos, Lazio, Qpr, Al Gharafa , Kuban Krasnodar, Bastia and Saint-pierroise, he played over 500 career games, Scoring 220 goals.

He won the Champions League, Super Cup and FA Cup with Liverpool.

He made his senior debut for France against Belgium in 2002, Djibril Cisse also played in the 2002 and 2010 FIFA World cup. Played a total of 41 games scored 9 goals.

Cisse told yahoo sport : "I really loved being a footballer, football has been my whole life.

"I will now devote myself to my career as a DJ, producer and a consultant, i will also develop my clothing brand.”
