Liverpool forward firmino Fined and Banned for a year.

Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has been fined £20,000 and Banned for a duration of 12 Months after he pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol.

He will not be allowed to drive his vehicle for that duration.

District judge Miriam shelvey ruled that Firminho's ban will be reduced to 9 months if he completed a drink driving course.

Firmino expressed his regret over the incident.

"I apologise, to the club, the manager, my teammates and the supporters for putting myself in this situation. What I have done is wrong and sets a bad example.

"I promise everyone in the LFC family, that I will learn from this mistake and learn from this experience, and will not repeat it in the future."

The club also issued a Statement.

 "The player has been disciplined by the club for his actions and reminded of his responsibilities for the present and the future. The nature of this action will remain private, however it does not impact on his availability for selection in matches.

"The club considers this to be an isolated incident, and a rare lapse in judgement and professionalism. We will work with the player to further educate him on the dangers associated with drink driving specifically.
