Although the club is yet to put a date on his expected return but the normal recovery time for this type of Injury is between two to three months.

The Brazillian forward completed his £27 Million move from Palmeiras during the january transfer Window.

The 19 year Old has been in fine form for Manchester City, relegating Sergio Aguero to the bench, he has scored 3 goals in 3 appearances.

Gabriel Jesus will miss crucial games for the club during this period, a trip to Arsenal and Chelsea, and also the game against Liverpool.

Manchester City released a statement : "Manchester City can confirm Gabriel Jesus suffered a fractured metatarsal during the 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Monday night.

"He will undergo further examinations in the coming days to establish the extent of his lay-off.

"We wish Gabriel a speedy recovery."
