Arsenal Advance To FA Cup Final

Arsenal recovered from a goal down to win 2-1 against Manchester City at the Wembley stadium.


Aguero struck first for Manchester City in the second half, before Monreal equalized few minutes after, Alexis Sanchez got the winner with a close range finish in the first half of extra time.

Arsenal who have won the FA cup twice in three seasons will face Chelsea in the final at Wembley.

With both sides failing to score in the first half Aguero struck 23 minutes into the second half racing onto a long pass from Yaya Toure before lifted the ball over Cech.

Monreal equalized for Arsenal in the 71st minute with a right foot finish from close range from an Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain cross.

The game ended 1-1 in normal time as both teams headed into the extra time.

Alexis Sanchez got the winner in the 101st minute as Manchester City failed to clear a free kick in the box the ball falls to Welbeck who passed to the Chilean to finish from close range.




Crystal palace took a huge step in securing Premier League safety by defeating Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield.

Liverpool went ahead from a Coutinho free kick before former Liverpool player Benteke struck twice to put Liverpool's Champions League qualification out of their hands.

With Manchester City and Manchester United still to face eachother in the league a win would have taken Liverpool close to Champions League qualification.

Philippe Coutinho broke the deadlock inside 24th minute bending a 30 yards free kick over the wall into the left side of goal.

Minutes after Emre Can failed to add the second mis hitting the ball from 12 yards out.

Christian Benteke equalized shortly after guiding Cabaye's cross into the roof of the net.

Liverpool could not add the second failing to put the ball inside the net before Benteke scored the winning goal for palace with a free header from close range.

Manchester United defeated Burnley 2-0 away from home to extend their unbeaten run to 23 matches and move closer to champions league qualification.

Martial got his fourth goal of the season in the 21st minute from a counter-attack exchanging a one-two with Herrera before slotting the ball beneath Heaton.

Wayne Rooney scored on his return to the side in the 39th minute from a rebound after Heaton blocked Martial's initial effort.
