Bundesliga : Ingolstadt Wins Again, Hertha Suffers Another Away Loss

Ingolstadt wins again

Ingolstadt have won their second game in the space of four days they defeated Augsburg 3-2 away from home to aid their survival battle to remain in the Bundesliga.

Ingolstadt were three goals up Almog Cohen scored a double, Sonny Kittels with a single goal.

With 23 minutes left to play Augsburg scored twice,  goals from Altintop and a penalty by Paul Verhaegh, but they could not get the equalizer.

Ingolstadt are on 25 points four points behind 15th place.

Hertha Berlin woes away from home continues Losing 1-0 to Monchengladbach their Seventh successive away league loss.

19 year old Laszlo Benes on only his second league appearance got his first Bundesliga goal for the club, with a 25 yard strike into the bottom corner just after 16 minutes. The only goal of the game.

RB Leipzig has won back to back games to put four points between them and third placed Hoffenheim. They defeated Mainz 3-2 at the Opel Arena.

Second half goals from Timo Werner and Marcel Sabitzer put Leipzig two goals up before Jairo Sampeiro scored a penalty for Mainz to halve the deficit.

Naby Keita extended Leipzig's lead, but yoshinori scored another goal for Mainz in injury time after Gbamin was given a red card.

Wolfsburg don't just know how to win at home they lost their 8th home game of the season 1-0 to Freiburg.

Florian Niederlechner scored on 76 minutes to condemn Wolfsburg to another home loss.

Bayern Leverkusen won for the first time in six Bundesliga games defeating Darmstadt 2-0 away from home.

Julian Brandt scored on 15 minutes to put Leverkusen ahead, Kevin Volland sealed the victory with a second half goal.
