Chelsea lost to Crystal Palace 2-1 at Stamford Bridge this afternoon reducing their lead on the EPL table to seven points.

Chelsea started the game well with an early goal from Cesc Fabregas in the fifth minute of the game.

Crystal Palace found their way back in the game with an equalizer from Wilfred Zaha, he held up the ball in the Chelsea box before he struck the ball low into the net.

Benteke gave Palace the lead with a close range shot after he received a pass from Zaha.

The home team had chances to get the equalizer and even win the game, but the opposition goalkeeper was in fine form and Diego Costa also wasted numerous chances.

Tottenham defeated Burnley 2-0 to cut Chelsea's lead at the top of the table to seven points.

Crystal palace are four points clear of relegation with tough matches still to come.

Chelsea face Manchester City next in the League on wednesday.
