Di Maria double sends PSG level with Monaco

Angel Di Maria scored twice in Psg's 2-0 win against Angers to go level on points with Monaco at the top of the Ligue 1 table.


Psg made just three changes to the side that started their previous game Pastore, Maxwell and Marquinhos replacing Draxler, Meunier and Kurzawa.

Angers got the first attempt on goal inside 10 minutes Nicolas Pepe releasing a long range shot which Kevin Trapp tipped over.

Di Maria got the first goal for psg from a wonderful freekick 35 yards out, he curled the ball past the goalkeeper.

Angers almost equalized in the 38th minute Kevin Trapp was on hand to save Baptiste Santamaria's low effort that was destined for the bottom right hand corner.




Two minutes after Ndoye scored for Angers but it was cancelled due to a foul on Aurier in the build up to the goal.

Cavani missed a chance to double Psg's lead in the 43rd minute shooting wide after Pastore found him with a pass in the box.

N'Doye almost got the leveller in the 72nd minute with a bullet header that Trapp somehow stopped from going in.

Di Maria got his brace in the 84th minute receiving a pass from Lucas Moura in the left hand side of the penalty area before unleasing a low strike into the bottom left corner.

Psg are on 74 points same points as Monaco on top of the Ligue 1 table, although Monaco have a game in hand.
