EPL :Tottenham Maintain Four Points Gap, Arsenal Wins Late

Tottenham Hotspurs defeated Crystal palace 1-0 at Selhurst park to return the gap to four points behind Chelsea.

Tottenham lost to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday needed to win so as to retain any hope of securing the EPL following Chelsea's 4-2 against Southampton.

They struggled to break down Palace's defence in the first half with Harry Kane and Dele Alli the club's top scorer not given any room to cause any damage.

Christian Eriksen rescued Tottenham in the 78th minute with an unstoppable long range strike to secure the three points and ensure Tottenham are still four points behind Chelsea.

Arsenal won against Leceister 1-0 at the Emirates stadium to keep their hopes of a Champions League qualification spot alive.

Robert Huth scored an own goal the only goal of the game after deflecting Nacho Monreal's strike past Schmeichel in the 86th minute.

Middlesbrough finally won their first game this year, defeating relegation threatened partner Sunderland 1-0 at the Riverside stadium to keep hopes alive of staying in the Premier League.

Marten de Roon got the only goal of the game early in the first half he controlled Clayton's long pass with his chest before slotting the ball past the onrushing Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
