Europa Recap :Manchester United Draw

Manchester United conceded a late goal away from home in the Europa League match to draw Anderlecht 1-1.


Henrikh Mkhitaryan put United ahead in the 36th minute beating the goalkeeper after the initially parried Jese Lingard's shot.

Manchester United could not add to their lead Mkhitaryan coming close to a a second goal in the 55th minute.

With four minutes left Leander Dendocker scored an header for Anderlecht to level the tie.

Lyon came from behind to score two late goals to defeat Besiktas 2-1 at home.

Besiktas opened the scoring in the 15th minute Anderson Talisca caught Lyon off guard from a free kick slipped a pass to Ryan Babel to score the first goal.

Lyon got the leveller in the 83rd minute Corentin Tolisso scored from close range after a long free kick came off Anderson Talisca.

Lyon got the winning goal in the 85th minute following a defensive error from Benfica, Hutchingson passed to his keeper under pressure the goalkeeper gave the ball away to Jeremy Morel who scored the winning goal.




Ajax defeated German side Schalke 2-0 at home, Davy Klaassen scored a brace.

Klaassen scored from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute following a foul on Amin Younes. In the 52minute Klaassen got his second goal, Scoring a wonderful volley.

Spanish side Celta Vigo fought back to defeat Belgian side Genk 3-2.

The Spanish side fell behind after 10 minutes Jean-Paul Boentius scored an header for Genk.

Sione pisto got the equalizer in the 15th minute he received a pass from John Guidetti at the edge of the box before shooting into the bottom corner.

Iago Aspas got the second goal in the 17th minute shooting into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

John Guidetti made it 3-1 in the 38th minute shooting from inside the box into the bottom corner.

Thomas Buffel scored Genk's second away goal, scoring a rebound after sergio saved his initial effort in the 67th minute.
