UCL Recap : Cristiano Ronaldo Sends Madrid into The semi-finals

Cristiano Ronaldo once again stole the show by scoring an Hat-trick in Madrid's 4-2 win against Bayern Munich and securing a 6-3 aggregate to become the first player to reach 100 Champions League goals.

With Bale out with a calf injury Real Madrid started with Isco as a replacement. Lewandowski and Mats Hummels returned to the Bayern starting line-up after missing the first leg.

Robert Lewandowski got the first goal for Bayern in the 53rd minute from the spot kick after Casemiro fouled Robben.

Madrid Responded in the 76th minute Cristiano Ronaldo guiding a low header into the back of the net from a Casemiro cross.

Sergio Ramos scored an own goal a minute later to level the aggregate before Arturo Vidal was sent off controversially for a supposedly foul on Asensio.

Madrid failed to take advantage of their one man advantage in normal time with Marcelo forcing a save off Neuer before the extra time.

Bayern struggled to create anything in the extra time with Madrid making their one man advantage count.

Ronaldo got the first goal in the extra time with a lovely volley into the bottom corner from a Sergio Ramos cross before scoring his Hat-trick and 100th Champions League goal minute later.

Asensio made it 4-2 and 6-3 on aggregate with 8 minutes left to play finishing low into the bottom left corner from inside the penalty area.

Leceister City crashed out of the Champions League failing to turn around a 1-0 first leg deficit against Athletico Madrid playing out a 1-1 draw and 2-1 aggregate.

Leceister went behind in the 26th minute failing to pick up Saul in the far post, he powered his header past Schmeichel.

Leceister who are yet to lose a Champions League home game in this competition preserved that record when Jamie Vardy lifted the ball into the roof of the net in the 61st minute.

Leceister failed to score again with the game ending 1-1 and Athletico reaching the semi-finals for the third time in four seasons.
