Chelsea Secures EPL title

Antonio Conte has won the Premier League title for Chelsea in his first season with the club. They defeated West Brom 1-0 at the Hawthorns to clinch the title with two games left to play.

Michy Batshuayi who has not really featured much this season got the title winning goal for Chelsea.

Chelsea started with the same side that defeated Middlesbrough with the just recovered N'Golo Kante on the bench.

West brom had the first effort on goal inside the first minute Rondon flicking Darren Fletcher's cross towards goal but Courtois was on hand to tip the ball over the bar.

Chelsea got their first attempt on goal in the 25th minute with Fabregas finding Azplicueta with a pass from 30 yards, the Spaniard attempt on goal went straight at Foster.

Moses almost got the opener for Chelsea two minutes into the second half but his shoot into the bottom corner was saved by Foster. Costa's overhead kick a minute after was also saved with ease.

McCauley almost scored an own goal in the 53rd minute as he sticks out a leg to block Hazard's cross diverting the ball towards his own goal but fortunately for him Yacob was positioned in front of goal to block it.

Chadli missed a one on one with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute dragging his shot wide off the target.

Chelsea pressed for an opener and got it in the 82nd minute from an unexpected source Michy Batshuayi was able to poke home Azplicueta's cross.

After a 10th place finish last season Chelsea have secured the Premier League title in Antonio Conte's first season in charge.
