Kante Secures Football Writers of the year award

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has won his second award for the season by winning the Football Writers of the year award.

The midfielder joined Chelsea after winning the premier League title with Leceister churning out impressive displays and also named in the Premier League team of the year.

The midfielder who recently won the PFA player of the year was picked as this season's best player by football Journalists.

The 26 year old impressive performances for Chelsea this season has put the club on the verge of securing the Premier League title and the English FA cup.

Despite his short frame the 26 year old has made up for it with his relentless running and ball recovery. his impressive defensive performance has helped shore up the Chelsea midfield.

Kante's impressive rise to prominence is a good story to write about two years ago he was playing in the french Ligue 2, before joining Leceister city securing the EPL title and named in the PFA team of the year.

He is about to secure back to back premier League title, possibly the FA Cup and he already has two personal awards.

“It is a fantastic honour to win this award. With so many great players in this Chelsea squad and in the Premier League, for the Football Writers’ Association of this country to name me as their Footballer of the Year is a very proud moment in my career,” said Kante.
