Kante Wins Premier League Player Of The Year

Chelsea midfielder N'golo Kante has won his third individual award of the season after he was named the Premier League Player of the year earlier today.

The French International who joined Chelsea after winning the Premier League with Leceister City last season has won the League with Chelsea and he has also won the PFA player of the year and also FWA player of the year.

Kante saw off competition from Tottenham's Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Jan Vertonghen, Everton's Romelu Lukaku and Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez and also his teammates Eden Hazard and Cesar Azplicueta to secure the award.

Kante has been phenomenal for Chelsea this season contributing immensely in Chelsea's Premier League win with his ball winning ability.


Kante's statement on the EPL website reads : "It's a huge honour to be named player of the year. and I want to thank everyone who voted for me,"

"I work hard in training, I try to give my best and I work with so many very good players; that's why we won the league," He added.
