Nigerian born Wilfred Ndidi Wins Leceister Young Player Award

Nigerian born and Leceister city midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has won the club's Young Player of the year award at the club's award ceremony.


The 20 year old was signed from Genk by Claudio Ranieri in the January transfer window for £18 million.

His impressive form for Leceister this season has seen other club's linked with a move for the Nigerian International.

His form for Leceister City was even more impressive under the new boss Craig Shakespeare.

The 20 year old has scored two Premier League goals in 15 appearances for Leceister City.

Leceister City Captain Wes Morgan won the Performance of the season for his role in Leceister city's win over Sevilla in the Champions League second round.

Danny Drinkwaker won the best goal for his stunning strike in Leceister City's 3-1 win against Liverpool.

Leceister City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel was given the Player's player of the year award.
