Watford Appoint Marco Silva

Watford football club has confirmed the appointed of former Hull City boss Marco Silva as their new Manager.

Marco Silva left Hull City after the club was relegated from the Premier League, he will replace Walter Mazzarri whose contract was terminated at the end of the season.

The Portuguese was poached from Hull following his impressive tactical acumen that almost guided Hull City to safety despite his short stay there.

The 39 year - old signed a two year deal with Watford who are fond of sacking their manager at the end of the season.

Watford CEO Scott Duxbury told the club's official website : "We are delighted to have secured his services and to be welcoming a head coach of his profile and potential.

"It's an exciting time to be a Watford fan, and I'm sure all supporters will join me in offering Marco and his family the warmest of welcomes to Vicarage Road."
