Roma's Rudiger Completes Chelsea Move

Chelsea have completed the signing of Roma defender Antonio Rudiger for a fee said to be around £34 million.

The versatile 24 year old defender has signed a five year deal with the club he becomes Antonio Conte's second signing of the summer following the capture of Willy Caballero.

The reigning Premier League Champions who recently lost out on signing Everton's Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United and reportedly pulled the plug on Matic's move to the Club will be glad they got their man with other clubs also interested in Rudiger.

Rudiger told Chelsea's official website : "It is a great feeling because not every
player has the opportunity to join a club like this, i am proud to officially become a Chelsea player.

Chelsea are also close to securing a £35 million deal for Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, they are also looking to add Juventus left back Alex Sandro and Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata as a replacement for Diego Costa who will definitely leave the club.
